 Automation
4 Less has now broadened its selection of ball screws to include a private-label
PRECISION ROLLED PRODUCTS from a trusted source. The hallmark of this
line is its lower cost (compared to ground screws) while still retaining
accuracy levels (C7) that meet or exceed the requirements of most applications.
 We
are stocking a wide range of lengths of these assemblies in 16mm (with
your choice of 5mm and 10mm pitch). All assemblies come with ends already
machined for the economical BK/BF or FK/FF mounts that we also supply.
To finish off your assembly, flexible motor couplings are also available
in several sizes.
Details & Features of Rolled Ball Screw Assemblies
- Ball screws in
16mm diameter in C7 accuracy grade
- 5mm and 10mm pitches
available
- 10 standard sizes
of 16mm screws are available ranging from overall length of 350mm (200mm
travel) to 1550mm (1400mm travel).
- Ball nuts are the
"oversize ball" type rated as "anti-backlash." Anti-backlash
is defined as <0.015mm or <0.0006". Nuts also come standard
with flanges.
- Screw lead error
not to exceed +/- 0.050mm/300mm or 0.002"/12".
- Ball nuts supplied
with zerk-type grease fitting.
- End machining has
already been performed to fit the BK or FK (fixed) type mount on the
drive end and BF or FF (simple) type mount on the floating end of the
unit. Assemblies may be purchased with or without the mounts.
- We
attempt to keep all sizes in stock for immediate availability.
- Custom units can
be supplied in a reasonable time frame (usually 2 to 3 weeks). Go to

- Flexible motor
couplings are also available to connect the ball screw to your motor.

been prepared for EACH of the standard size screws we offer. All
zip archives contain three files:
- A PDF of the specific ball screw and nut
- A STEP file of the ball nut
- A STEP file of the screw
Each archive is very small (under 100 KB).
